NaturoPETic is a non-profit company dedicated to informing pet owners about proper nutrition for dogs and cats. An equally important goal is to help prevent dog and cat disease by disseminating knowledge and research in the area of holistic pet care. By “holistic” we don’t mean strictly “herbal” or homeopathic. The Canadian Holistic Medical Association sums up our definition:
In other words, we are not against conventional medicine, but wish to promote the integration of ALL areas of health care in order to achieve the best result.
A third goal of naturoPETic is to work toward building a “dog camp” where children can go to camp with their dogs. This facility would also act as a foster home and no-kill shelter for animals in need. NaturoPETic strives to prevent animal cruelty, and this camp would serve as an education center to teach kids about worldwide animal issues, cruelty prevention, and how to care for their own pets. For more information see our Future Goals page.
In order to achieve this mission, naturoPETic sells pet supplies to the public. All net profit will be used to attain our goal, as stated above. In doing so, naturoPETic will also strive to:
- Continuously educate ourselves and our customers on pet health, nutrition, and humane practices.
- Earnestly care about what we are doing by using quality ingredients, and by working with integrity, compassion, and benevolence.
- Support the community, the country, and the planet by buying from local suppliers, being involved in non-profit events, and employing environmentally conscientious practices.
